The Kilohana Performing Arts Company quietly emerged,
December 2008, from the creative dream of Dancer,
Choreographer and Kumu Hula, Rolanda “Mohala” Reese, to a
reality. It was a long awaited twenty year vision which resulted
in a spectacular debut at Hollywood, California’s luxurious John
Anson Ford Amphitheater on August 2009. The momentum of
this dream is increasing in speed. Reese’s creation of Kilohana
is strategically reaching beyond the Pacific islands and across
the borders of California in an effort to touch the world. Learn
