most prolific artists: Composer, Singer, Kumu
Hula, Chanter, Kahuna, Healer, Spiritual &
Cultural Leader, embodies the arts with elegance
and distinction. He has won the hearts of three
generations with his music and chants,
performed by many Hawaiian artists and hula
practitioners today.
His teachers include his grandmother, Iwa
Kanae, Aunty Emma DeFries and Edith
Kanaka'ole
. This workshop provides a unique
opportunity for all hula dancers to
experience his aloha and mana’o.
